Brandi and Dan - Elkhart, Indiana

Brandi and Dan’s November wedding ceremony and reception took place in Elkhart, Indiana at the Athenian Ballroom.  It was a great location!

Brandi is full of life and obviously much loved by many, including her nieces, who were flower girls.  She looks beautiful in the close up below and shows off her fun side while twirling with the flower girls in the shot after that!!

After everyone was ready, we headed across the street from the Ballroom to the Midwest Museum of American Art, where we did some of the photos!  They have an old vault (that you’ll see below) which made for some fun shots!

The very fun-loving wedding party members strike a pose!

Rajeev caught this shot of the ring bearer, Elliott, and his little sister, Maggie (who was a flower girl), practicing their dancing.  How adorable are they??!

The flower girls needed a break after such a full day of activity!!  Here they are just hanging out!

I do!!

The Athenian Ballroom has a great balcony overlooking the city of Elkhart.  We snuck away from the reception for a few minutes to do a couple of nighttime shots on the balcony with the city lights in the background.

Brandi and Dan, your wedding was so much fun to photograph!  We are so excited for you and wish you tons of happiness together!

Jennifer and Ben - engagement

Meet Jen…

and her fiance, Ben…

I first met Jen about 10 years ago, when I was helping with the youth group at the church she and her family attended!  I can hardly believe that 10 years has passed so quickly!!  She and Ben are getting married in April, and it is so fun to have the opportunity to work with them after all this time!  They had decided to do their engagement session at their home, and here are a few of my favorite shots from the day.

The week before the session I asked Jen what the chances were that they’d be up for some outdoor shots as well!  She liked the idea and didn’t even change her mind even though it was extremely cold.  It started snowing just as we were ready to head outside!!  The timing of the snow was perfect - and I love the look it gave the pictures!

We couldn’t finish the session without being sure to involve Jen and Ben’s two beloved dogs!  I’ll close this post with a photo that includes them.

We’ll see you in a few weeks at your wedding, Jen and Ben!!
