Tickets are $6 at the door.

The event will be held in Muncie, Indiana at the Horizon Convention Center (401 S. High St., Muncie, IN  47305).  There will be lots of vendors there, catering to all of your wedding needs - florists, caterers, video service, dj service, your favorite wedding photographer Karen and more!!  A fashion show sponsored by Ford’s Tux Shop and Moment in Time Bridal will be taking place at 3:00p.m.

If you’re planning a wedding, this is the perfect place to start.  Come out and talk to vendors, get new ideas, and have a great afternoon getting excited about your big day!

You may remember seeing Chandra and Alex in photos from their engagement session which took place last summer.  They are such a great couple, and their October wedding could not have been more beautiful.  We ended up with the most perfect Fall day that I think I could have imagined!  Not too hot, not too cold, and rich colors everywhere that you looked!  (Can you tell that all of this winter grayness is making me miss the color of Spring, Summer, and Fall?!)

Chandra and Alex decided to see each other before the ceremony, finish nearly all of their wedding photos beforehand, and then have plenty of time to enjoy with their guests.  The church was just minutes away from Amish Acres in Nappanee, Indiana, which turned out to be a fabulous spot for pictures.  Photos can tell the story much better than words, so here you go…

I love the blue sky in this first shot!!

We found this great red barn, which we all loved as the background for a few photos.  It contrasted with the vibrant, green grass perfectly and looked great with the reds, oranges, and greens of the bouquets!

By the way, I just ordered a sample canvas gallery wrap of Chandra with her bridesmaids in the background.  I should have it in time for the Muncie, Indiana Bridal Show at the Horizon Center on January 25!  I can’t wait to see it on canvas!

Here is a quick shot from the ceremony that Rajeev took as Chandra and Alex were exchanging rings.  Nice!

After the ceremony, the happy couple exited the church with bubbles flying everywhere!

In the shot below, you can see Rajeev in the corner.  In the shot after that, you’ll see the shot from his perspective!  I love fisheye shots of couples exiting the church!

On the way to the reception, we stopped at DeFries Garden for a few photos of Chandra and Alex in the late-day sunlight.  We were only there for a few short minutes, but it was well worth the stop!  I am so glad that Chandra and Alex were familiar with the spot and were able to suggest it.

I’m trying to be sure to blog about some of the weddings I didn’t get the chance to blog about during the summer and fall months.  Jamie and Emery were married this past summer right here in Muncie, Indiana.

They used all sorts of bright pink accents, which added a lot of vibrance to the wedding.  Don’t you love Jamie’s shoes?

Jamie also dyed her crinoline so it would be bright pink too!

The ceremony took place at the beautiful High Street United Methodist Church in downtown Muncie.

The reception was very child-friendly!  Jamie and Emery are both teachers and they had many of the kids from their classes there to celebrate with them.  Here’s a whole group of the kids hanging out at the DJ booth waiting for the dancing to begin!

Just before Christmas, I had the opportunity to photograph the Jones family.  I’ve gotten to work with them a couple of times before, and had just as much fun this time around!  Their new baby girl, Naomi, arrived in November, about a month before our session.  Here she is!  Isn’t she beautiful?!

I also got to take a few photos of Naomi’s big brother, Judah, who is 16 months old.  He is a sweetie and has grown so much since I did his newborn pictures!

To end this post, I’ll leave you with a photo of Naomi showing some amazing strength for a 4 week old!!  We put her on this trunk for a few photos and she held herself up like this for at least a minute!!  It was unbelievable!!
