I wanted to post a few photos of one of the newer album styles that I’m offering - the Bijou Flushmount album. Flushmount albums offer limitless options for page layouts. The whole page spread is designed as one piece from edge to edge, creating a clean and unified look.

Ann and Will chose a simple, classic canvas cover for their album which looked just beautiful. There are so many great options though. Choose your colors, cover material, whether you’d like a photo on the cover or maybe even a patterned background. I love that the Bijou gives you so many options for customizing your album so that it is the perfect book for you! Jennifer and Ben’s wedding is almost here!  I posted some of their engagement pics a couple of weeks ago, and wanted to update you with the design for their guest book that uses the photos from their engagement session.  Their album is an 8″x8″ coffee table style album with linen pages, and I can’t wait to get it back from the printer!!  Each page of an engagement guest book is designed with extra space, where guests can sign their names as well as messages for the happy couple.  I think that these books are great, because guests get to see more of your engagement photos, and see you and your fiance interacting together.  You also end up with a great keepsake that you’ll flip through and show off a million times more than a regular guest book.

Anyway, here is Jen and Ben’s book!!

Take it from me, we had a traditional, sign-your-name-on-a-blank-page guest book for our wedding which took place a little over 6 years ago (before I knew about these photo guests books!).  I think I looked at it for the first time since our wedding when I found it while cleaning out the closet last month.  That wouldn’t have been the case if I had done something like this one!!

We offer a variety of albums.  It is hard to describe an album via email or over the phone, and often a good amount of time passes between when we initially meet with a couple (and they see samples) and when they decide on their album selection details after the wedding.  I decided it would be a good idea to feature a few of the album styles that we offer here on the blog, and put up some detail shots so that it is easier to remember which styles are which!

Today we’re featuring our matted album.  Timeless and classic, each photograph in the matted album is lacquered and hand mounted into a fitted frame. Hundreds of page layout options are available. Each album features thick, sturdy pages and a beautiful leather cover.

Each album comes wrapped in a soft, cloth “pillowcase” (seen below) and is delivered in a presentation box (seen above) for protection.

Matted albums can be imprinted with up to 2 lines of text.  Imprinting color options include: black, white, silver, gold, or branded (blind embossed).  Silver imprinting is seen below.

Pages feature gilded edges and rounded corners.  Gilding is available in black, silver, or gold.

Albums are beautifully bound and lie flat when opened for easy viewing.

A small border surrounds each photo when it is matted into your album.  Border color options include black, white, silver, or gold.

The matted album is beautifully crafted and a great way to display your images for years to come.
